Okay - you haven’t got much time to think about this then (unfortunately).
If you are not going to get commercial litigation experience during your TC, it will be very difficult to qualify into that area.
Given this, I think you have to consider carefully:
1) is this interest in commercial...
It isn’t that the universities discriminate but there are different support elements for those who are being sponsored through the course by a law firm (especially if it is a bespoke course or they are a preferred supplier), versus those that self fund.
Ultimately there is a third party paying...
Call them.
You can explain you have spoken to other people in your intake who have received communication and so you are concerned that things are not being sent to you.
Sometimes future trainees don’t update their contact details, especially if their application used their university email...

Spend some time really reflecting on your time on the scheme:
- what’s been the most enjoyable?
- what’s been the most challenging?

You may want to reach out to future or current trainees at Bakers who have done this route to get their thoughts. I know...
The first thing to stress is a third is not a fail. If you had failed the year, you would be retaking it rather than progressing to your second year.
When your at a uni at Oxford, you get into a little competitive bubble where supposedly everyone is doing all the flash internships in their...
