It is disappointing to have to remind you yet again about our community terms and conditions and keeping this in mind with your tone in the forums when responding to others, especially when the last reminder was only a couple of days ago.
However, it seems necessary to do so. Please remind...
There will be a question as to what you did with the time between completing your college studies and starting your degree course, especially if this is two years, and so if the only other alternative is to leave significant gaps in your application, it will be better to disclose this. It is...
They will review the mitigating circumstances and will look at the grades both in the PGDL and elsewhere in other academics to make a judgement on whether you can demonstrate what they are looking for.
I wouldn’t be so confident about that.
I am in the process of reviewing all posts and will have no hesitation in removing posts or banning you for a period of time if appropriate and if your posts breach our terms. Continued behaviour like those in your previous posts will fall foul of our...
You can keep the post up, but I must stress your tone and responses are unnecessary and not appreciated.
The forums are designed to be a supportive environment for everyone, and the way in which you are currently responding to people is not aligned with that.
Please do keep this in mind for...
they can’t do that without your permission (basic data protection). But they can ask you directly about your circumstances, and in that situation you’d need to be honest and upfront as to what is going on.
Be mindful if you have taken any financial support from your current firm it’s likely...
I think they will consider you, but you just may need to be prepared to explain your circumstances.
It’s not really that you withdrew that could be the issue, more that you have accepted a TC elsewhere.
The key to answering this question is highlighting the downsides for you and specifically for the firm you are applying to. No career is perfect and there will be elements that the job doesn’t give you that you wish it could. But you should be happy to make that compromise because of there is...

It’s not that it’s outdated as such - you can use achievements from school and college.
I just think you have to have something exceptional here - a lot of people applying will have a good/high LNAT score. Naturally many people will have had to so they could get into the universities they have...
Don’t think about this in terms of age, think about it more about where you will be in your journey.
Rather than stating something obvious (eg you will either be qualified or close to qualified working on international matters - this is something all candidates could say that are applying to...
You will still need to provide an academic referee who can verify your results - most universities don’t know their students to be fair, and in more cases than not it’s just the admin office confirming the grades you have received rather than a character reference.
It is just the overall average that needs to be a 2.1 - not just individual modules (unless the firm explicitly states they need all modules to be a 2.1 - can’t ever remember seeing this though).
You are spot on with this @axelbeugre - I think the only time the conscious bias comes in is when it is exceptionally close to the deadline (eg in the last hour an application is open), but that is generally because in more cases than not the application is rushed in anyway (and it’s obvious...
