    Unfortunately there is no answer to this. Many firms may expect over 4 weeks legal work experience but others will expect 0. Some firms value non legal work experience as much as they value legal work experience too. If you are ever unsure, I would ask the firm you are wanting to apply to.

    In some cases, yes. In some cases, no. Really depends on the firms stance on this. Some firms may just push you to a direct TC process instead. Some firms will just advise you to reapply.

    For your SQE prep course, it will be a student visa. A skilled persons visa would only be possible once you are in employment, and you aren’t employed if you are studying the SQE before your training contract.
