    I just received my feedback from Freshfields, surprisingly, my weakest point was the written assessment where I did not meet the cutoff of 11/19. I think people take this part for granted when it could be why you don't get an offer and it's the easiest part to prepare for as well.

    I hope it's not. I am not sure how common it would be for trainees to lateral to another firm after qualifying but it would be far from ideal to have to do this out of necessity rather than you being offered positions by different firms.

    That's great commitment on your part, I am not sure if I'd be able to do the same. I'm hoping I can get a firm to fund the SQE course for me but that's only possible if I secure a training contract.
