I’m hopeful, but the fact they said 1-2 weeks and it’s now 4 still doesn’t fill me with much confidence! Exactly though, finding somewhere to stay in London and arrange transport with only a month’s notice really doesn’t seem too reasonable!
So one was a rejection and one was an offer? Seems like they’re just doing it in batches, especially seeing as there were a load of March ones where offers/rejections have already been handed out. Have to just wait and see but constantly checking my email and TCLA to see updates for other people...
Let’s hope so - at this point I just want to hear either way so I stop thinking about it, but getting less hopeful the longer it goes on ☹️ For the person who got the offer, when was their AC and when did they hear? If they heard within the 1-2 week time frame they said, that doesn’t fill me...
The fact none of us have heard yet is somewhat reassuring (unless they’ve already handed out offers 😬) They did say 1-2 weeks so I’d like to hope it’s soon as it’s been over 4 weeks for many now and they’ve been done for a while. Feel like I’m just constantly refreshing emails at this stage.
Just as a heads up to anyone else, but I emailed W&C a few days back about getting back to us after the AC and they said that they should let people know during the upcoming week.
Hopefully puts a few more people at ease!
My AC was almost 4 weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything.
It’s more reassuring that everyone else is in the same position, but when they said 1-2 weeks, it’s really frustrating. More so because I have to book accommodation and it’s only around a month away and worried it’s going to be more...
Anyone know how long W&C take to reply post AC? They said at the end of the interview I should expect to hear within 1 to 2 weeks, but it’s been almost 3 weeks now and I still haven’t heard anything.
Should I presume that’s bad news?
Hey everyone,
I just had my first ever AC with White & Case. I was generally pretty happy with the interview and was able to relax and enjoyed it, but feel I completely bombed the written exercise.
I feel my structure was fine and I finished but I didn't understand the content of the documents...
Just completed my VI with W&C (my 4th VI of this cycle) and I'm getting more frustrated at how badly they're going.
I feel well prepared, research the firm and try and smile/be natural, but they always seem to go wrong. I get flustered, trip over my words, check the timer and have 5 seconds to...
Just got a W&C VI invite, which I’m so surprised about as presumed with a lot of others having one it would be a PFO!
Anyone got any tips as they would be really appreciated — is it commercial? Competency?
I was looking to apply to Norton Rose's summer scheme, but it seems it's exclusively available to penultimate year students and only the winter/spring ones are available for final years/graduates?
This seems to be case, but would anyone be able to clarify as I have never seen this before and...
I've been rejected from a number of firms and it's left me feeling very demotivated and unsure about what to do next year (I'm a final year undergraduate).
I know training contract applications are still open, would these be worth applying to or are you at a significant disadvantage if trying...
Never realised how difficult/competitive WGs were until now. Emailed Hogans and they said I scored in the 33rd percentile, while I thought the test generally went decently. People must be getting insanely high scores. Quite demotivating if I'm honest.
First time posting here but becoming increasingly demoralised about securing even an AC this cycle, let alone a VS.
I must have done about 15 applications and many firms I'm yet to hear back from, even after applying months ago. Practical radio silence from DLA Piper, Hogan Lovells, Ashurst...
