Just filled in the Taylor Wessing form and now I can’t access it because of the error. 🫠
Has the form come back for anyone or have you had to start again/set up a new account?
I see Eversheds Sutherland have the same application questions as last year (and I think going back a few years before too).
Is there any advice anywhere on how to approach these and what they are looking for? Given they’ve been the same for a few years I haven’t found much, and the firm...
I got Pride, Growth Mindset and Efficiency as my strengths and ‘preference to be relaxed and informal’ as my weakness.
Haven’t heard back from the firm but I applied in September so assuming PFO.
Hi all- I’m wondering if anyone has some advice on applying to Taylor Wessing?
I’m especially interested in what they look for in the cover letter and how’s that’s different to ‘What motivates you for a career in Law at Taylor Wessing and what key skills would you bring? {provide answer of 2500...
The website says ‘We’ll read applications as they come in but won’t fill our assessment centre places before the deadline closes.’
I take that as possibly rolling, as it implies they may allocate some AC places before the deadline. Would be interested to know if anyone has heard otherwise.
I can relate- I actually like doing the Watson Glaser, it’s my favourite test.
The one I cannot stand though is Artic Shores game-based assessments. They really suck!
The good news with these is that multiple answers may be correct (at least the case for AG practice), so not as bad as it seems.
In this case weak, and very weak?
I think they say on their website something along the lines of ‘we don’t fill all our places before the deadline’. I interpret this to mean they are reviewing applications on a rolling basis.
However, since they are having technical issues with their automatic test, there‘s probably no rush to...
I got a rejection for an Open Day for a firm last year but was successful in applying for their Vacation Scheme.
Sometimes firms have limited Open Day places (especially in-person) or may be looking for different criteria. If it’s your top firm, I would say definitely still worth applying for...
Are people who have applied to Osborne Clarke still waiting for their online test?
I got their email saying they were having technical problems two weeks ago now, and have had no follow-up since.
For me so far it’s Hogan Lovells, BCLP, Addleshaw Goddard and Osborne Clarke. Waiting to hear back from all of them, and still waiting for the test from OC.
