Ty for responses, huge relief for me. I always try so hard to never reuse an experience, but it can get quite difficult in longer interviews. This made me way more relaxed for my upcoming interview
Does anybody have any tips or resources for written exercises, I feel like I really let myself down in them every time despite a relatively strong interview performance :(
It took them a month to reject me post AC for WVS, idk why but just speaking to other people they seem to be absolutely terrible in terms of getting back to you.
I haven't personally done this, but after failing in the Macfarlanes AC, in my feedback call grad recruitment specifically encouraged me to apply for their TC in the same cycle. Slaughter and May also did this - so its defo possible.
For learning the underlying reasoning TCLA has a good course on it, a free alternative is "commercial comrade" on youtube.
For the tests I literally just searched Watson Glaser practice and checked every link.
they ignored my email asking roughly when we will hear back by. It would at least be nice to know if we are being considered for other schemes/if WVS is filled. If I dont hear back today, Monday will have been 4 weeks since my AC without a peep.
I mean this is for their summer internship, its over half a year away. I think people are really jumping the gun on presuming a PFO with that amount of time between now and the scheme. They also don't offer a winter scheme and will have received substantially more applications than other firms...
DLA just sent me an email reconfirming I passed the test and they are working through shortlisting people for AC. If you haven't heard back in a while I don't think its necessarily indicative of a PFO yet.
