little bit sad - got to BM AC last year. after it they specifically told me how good my written application/skills were. Just got a rejection pre WG this year... I basically wrote a similar application but upgraded with new work experience/skills/etc -- how can they have loved my written app...
S&M AC invite but I went to book a slot and all the dates they offered me are in February? Is this normal or should I email and ask if it's a mistake? As always, many thanks @ everyone on these forums
Hi, best of luck with everything!! Here's my take on your qs:
1. Yes definitely mention your volunteering. All work experience is worth mentioning and I'm sure you got some "transferable skills" out of it
2. I believe the vibe is only mention it in your cover letter if you're going to expand on...
The rejection is a killer I completely get where you're coming from. You just have to keep trying and going to events etc until something sticks! In terms of advice, get as much feedback from the places you had ACs at as you can - then you can focus in on what to improve for your next one. There...
thanks for this, that's really kind of you! I'm hoping that maybe its because I ticked the boxes for both winter and spring schemes... not likely but oh well!! Hope your AC was fab and that you get it!!
