It can be - it honestly may be just luck in some cases whether or not a firm gets back to you. If you're sure you don't want to work there in the future you can always try a SAR as well- Kablahc

I come from a law background but my degree has no commercial or corporate content so I basically learned all that beforehand and I think that's what they found most impressive. Definitely agree with the assessment day comments! But if you don't want to buy, I've personally not failed one (yet) and I usually make a 'cheat sheet' with all the definitions of what the questions ask so I know exactly what I'm answering - e.g. for the 'assumptions' questions I have written...- Kablahc
