I believe you can only apply to one. You will be able to clarify this with GR no doubt. They may well advise that there is a space on the application to indicate availability to other dates if one is full perhaps. Best of luck.- D

Maybe, but if you are applying to a first-year scheme you are also very likely to be committed to that path. Also, they build in protections like this, just like with offers, if a firm takes on 90 trainees a year, they don't simply make 90 offers, as they know candidates will have applied...- D

To all of those receiving FF rejections, I'm sorry to hear it. I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. In my view, applying Direct for a TC is always much harder than going through a VS. I think that task has been made even more difficult with Covid which may affect the number of places on offer...- D

Don't be disheartened by this. I did a first-year scheme with them last year and had to sit the WG in person again at their office. They told us the pass mark was 90%, so they I would assume that they place quite a bit of significance on the WG! Most firms are not this strict.- D

BAD FIRST YEAR RESULTS - What to do?
Honestly, as others are mentioned - You are worrying about nothing. My first year average was 63. 10 of my 11 applications were successful and this was across a range of firms (MC and US). I'd avoid the firms that can be very particular about grades (Slaughters, Shearman etc) but otherwise you...- D

For those who apply direct to US firms, this response is worth noting. Most of these firms do recruit exclusively from their VS, even though they accept direct applicants. I think getting a TC direct is more the exception rather than the rule. Sorry to those who put the effort in! At least you...- D
