I have an offer from HSF. I'm waiting on outcomes from FF and Latham. I chose to not interview at CC in the end as they simply wouldn't move their assessment date forward from December 2020. I also saw your success - Congratulations! When you put in the effort, the results will come :)- D

Watson Glaser Tips and Tricks?
My absolute top recommendation is to go and do the practice tests you can do on the Clifford Chance website, or similar. But, ensure they are from the provider that the firms use (I think its PersonVue? Whatever is on the CC Practice test). I did so many of these through the application cycle...- D

There's going to be nothing wrong with your answer, as long as it's genuine to you and you can link it to something tangible. When you speak about the international element, be sure to relate it back to why that personally is important to you as an applicant.- D

Applying to a firm for TC but didn't apply for the VS?
I have not been asked that question at any interview, and I have done a lot. A reasonable answer could be that you were able to ascertain, from whatever you have done, that the firm was somewhere where you could see yourself. I turned down a VS at a firm and just asked for a straight TC...- D

You'll be fine, as Jessica noted. You may be asked about it in an interview (as it turns out, I wasn't asked a single question about any of my grades in the 10+ interviews I've done). If you are, just have an answer to why it is a little lower. You don't need to lie. No-one likes Public law...- D

Yes, so a "cycle" is generally one application year. You need to decide what you are going to apply for, and you essentially have one shot. I'd say that if you have been unsuccessful for a VS this cycle, you'd likely be unsuccessful for a TC with that same firm. This is because the quality of an...- D
