Consistency tends to be more with your undergraduate degree if anything. The GDL and LPC tend to be looked at slightly differently.
I don’t think a commendation in an IP module is going to stop you getting an IP seat though.
I’d also stress if anyone was hating on someone with offers, it would be going against our mission statement and possibly even our terms and conditions! As RoughWood has said, this community is here to support one another during any stage of the journey.
What’s your thinking about this? That is far more important than any advice we can give you, and we need some context as to what you are weighing up about both firms.
It’s not that they aren’t taking it seriously if that’s the case. It’s just they can’t offer you a 2022 intake now - they might be able to in the future if things change, but you have to accept that you may not start until 2023.
They are serious - they just probably haven’t got 2022 intakes to currently offer you. That might change if people decline offers/defer or if the firm increases their intake numbers.

No - it doesn't necessarily look bad if you didn't convert the vacation scheme. Firms know that not ever vac schemer can be offered a TC and if anything, getting the vac scheme in the first place will show you are a strong candidate.
The individual might have scored highly for their thinking/analysis, but if they dominated the exercise, it is unlikely they would have scored on other areas that are equally as important.

Agree with Jaysen - always tends to be end of October/early November to allow enough time to cover careers events and also to cover some universities reading weeks at the last week of October.
I would advise to focus more on your personal strengths in this type of question. This ensures your answer is more unique to you - “why you would stand out” rather than the opportunities to potentially stand out that any trainee could take up (eg networking/helping team members out).
Someone who has lived in the region for sometime has got a more straight forward reason for applying for jobs in the region. But you should probably explain things like how long you have lived their, if you have moved away for uni, why you decided to return home for work etc.
