I’ve been putting the end date of the job role so say if it’s set to end in July 2026, I’ve just put it down as that and haven’t rly had any issues. I think I saw Afraz mention yous can put today’s date to signal to grad rec that it’s a current position? Either is fine tbf. Do what works for you!
If I had a quid for each day that has passed since I did Milbank stage 1, I’d have 35 quid, which isn’t a lot but it’s a sign that they’re taking a long time to send me the inevitable PFO.
Has anybody heard from the following firms or knows when they’ll usually respond (i.e., late Jan, early Feb, etc.), so I can manage expectations?
Sidley Austin Spring VS - applied 9 Jan
Travers Smith Summer VS - applied 14 Jan
Covington & Burling Summer VS - applied 16 Jan
Morgan Lewis Summer...
It’s a standard Cappfinity assessment so it has SJT and WG questions. Then there’s a proofreading exercise to check for SPAG.
They said it should take an hour but ngl I spent at least 90 to 120 mins. I think the test was untimed so time doesn’t factor in their decision.
TCLA forum users attending Lord Sumption’s milk nutritional benefits class and taking notes:
Honestly I didn’t even know any of this info so I’m defo gna start drinking more milk lmao. 😂
Me when a firm ghost me for weeks so I assume it’s a PFO and crash out before I get milk to drink:

Me after I drink some milk to help me completely forget about the future PFO, sit back and relax:
Ngl beggars cannot be choosers in this game so I guess I’d *reluctantly* accept the TC scraps…
But then I can imagine the firm’s reaction after they discover that they weren’t my top choice:
Sigh *you guys’ bank balances after subscribing to CLA, Watson’s Daily and ZipLaw which easily costs £100s per month (ouch)*
Fr though do yous think these subscriptions are acc worth it cos I’m skeptical about the ROI/VFM and will end up protesting for refunds like:

There are 2 to 3 days of ACs per week, so it’s 16-24 people per week, 60-65 across all ACs.
Each day has a morning and afternoon slot, with 4 people per slot, so 8 people a day for ACs.
This week’s slots were filled and when I selected my Weil AC for a later slot most had been filled.
They...
I think so yeah cos they’ve invited around 60 for the ACs for up to 30 VS slots. They sent out three separate AC batches last week and new AC slots yesterday. Idk if they sent more invites out at the same time cos nobody posted about it. I can try rem to ask grad rec when I’m there?
Edit: I...
ACs are running this week and next, going into the first week of Feb. Perhaps you guys are all on a waiting or reserve list. So if current AC’ers don’t do well (likely for me lmao), then they’ll send out more AC invites to fill in those extra VS slots? I’m just hazarding a guess idk Weil’s GR...
