Would you need to talk about how your chosen topic links to A&O? Is this implied? The question doesn't expressly ask you to relate to A&O

Hearing Back from Law Firms, Assessment Centres & Interview Tips - 2019 - 2020

Not sure about Dentons but Paul Hastings says on its website that they only contact people who are successful. I reckon they will take their time in responding though because they have a whole year's worth of applications to read as they only read applications after the deadline.

Sorry I have no idea if they recruit on a rolling basis. I don't think so though because I sent my application on the date of the deadline, wouldn't recommend doing that though!

    Ask A Graduate Recruiter Anything!

Hi Jessica, I came across this question: What are you expecting to gain from a career in law? Is this similar to the 'Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?' question? My answers to both questions seem to be similar e.g. building a certain skill-set and client base.

    Amount of work experience

Yeah, I rather not give up this job I think it will be more beneficial for me in the future to have industry knowledge, but I am unsure as to how picky law firms are. I have shadowed solicitors at Freshfields (through informal work experience) and an attorney in another country, done work at a...

Hi, I was wondering how much legal and non-legal work experience you guys have? I do not know if I am being rejected because of my lack of sufficient legal work experience. Law Firms' Mergers

Would you say that a firm's structure (e.g. Swiss verein/ full intergration) affects a trainee's work or is it more of a long-term consideration when deciding whether to stay at a firm?
