Not sure about Dentons but Paul Hastings says on its website that they only contact people who are successful. I reckon they will take their time in responding though because they have a whole year's worth of applications to read as they only read applications after the deadline.
Sorry I have no idea if they recruit on a rolling basis. I don't think so though because I sent my application on the date of the deadline, wouldn't recommend doing that though!
Hi Jessica,
I came across this question: What are you expecting to gain from a career in law?
Is this similar to the 'Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?' question? My answers to both questions seem to be similar e.g. building a certain skill-set and client base.
Hi,
How long did you have to complete the Watson Glaser test? Was it 30mins to complete 40 questions?
Also Freshfields said to complete it 'by Wednesday 7th August' - do you know if this is close of business or midnight on the 7th?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Jessica,
I have always been told that I did not "expand on my points" at assessment centres, do you have any tips on showing this? what should I think about when explaining an idea?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I was wondering how much legal and non-legal work experience you guys have? I do not know if I am being rejected because of my lack of sufficient legal work experience. I am working in the finance industry and I know why I am interested in commercial law, but do I need to quit and apply for...
Would you say that a firm's structure (e.g. Swiss verein/ full intergration) affects a trainee's work or is it more of a long-term consideration when deciding whether to stay at a firm?
Hi everyone,
My name is Rana and I am a part-time LPC student in Manchester. I did my law degree at the University of Nottingham. I had a lot of ups and downs, nearly lost my motivation to pursue training contracts as I did not understand what I was doing wrong in my applications! Thank you for...
