A career changer's journey

Mini update:
Feeling a bit stressed with the vac scheme/TC applications - but we continue.
I've made progress in some firms, past application/SJT stages, but no interviews or offers yet!

Hey

Sorry for the delayed response - things have been hectic!
What inspired the career change was exposure to solicitors' work, in my various roles. Alongside, having to do some legal docs in the various roles, and reflecting on what aspects of the roles I enjoyed. Also I was interested in law as a young person (back when I was 18) but for some reason I felt I couldn't do it.
How about you?

I feel that. I also got interested through doing financial advisory for early stage funds and realised lots of the interesting parts of the job are for the lawyers. Funnily enough I was also interested in becoming a barrister when I was in my final year of uni but thought I couldn't get a pupillage, went into finance and now commercial law makes more sense
