Attending open days in second year?

Hello! I’m entering my second year in Law this September and I want to know if the open days that law firms host are marketed towards first years or second years? I didn’t attend any in my first year.

I am also intending to apply to vacation schemes. Would it be a smart idea to apply to both in the same year?

Hi, I also have this same question of whether its advisable to apply to open days and vac schemes in the same cycle and would appreciate it if someone can respond!

Generally you will find the autumn open days are best suited for those eligible to apply for vacation schemes/training contracts that cycle, while the Spring open days/Spring insight schemes are generally for first years who won't be applying until the next cycle.

I attended open days as a postgraduate - attended them, and have progressed through nearly all the applications in which I had attended a firm open day.
