BAD FIRST YEAR RESULTS - What to do?

If it is any consolation, I failed two modules in my first year and one in my second year, before securing a first overall in my degree. I was still invited to Slaughter and May for an interview. I also had no legal experience and did not attend a RG university.
At your Slaughters interview you were questioned on your modules that you failed? I got a 2.2 in one module in first year and graduated with a first overall but I don't know how I should answer a question about that module (no mitigating circumstances I just messed up the exam). Any advice would be great!

Hello everyone! (And anyone reading this :p)

I am honestly having an absolute meltdown about my first year results that I’ve just received.

My first year average is 61.25% — 57% in criminal law, 64% in public law, 62% in equity & trusts, and 62% in contract law.

If it helps, I attend an RG in Manchester

Honestly I am not so sure what to do from now on. It will be really helpful if anyone can give a rough plan for me to follow! (Studies, extra-curricula, etc.)

Let’s presume that this is down the solicitor route—
My average for my first year was 61.83%, I got a grade of 49% in Tort in my first year, I am now in my second year and was worried about the same issue but have just received marks for Tort 2 at 76% and 74% for crime 2 (same as Crime 1).
I was so worried about year 1 marks as I did poor in 3 subjects (Tort 49%, Public Law 54% and Contract 59%) but I sat over the summer holidays and thought if I do well in Tort 2 in year 2 and do well in Business law, international Commercial Law and Public International Law in year 3 then this shows improvement on the year one grades. I am now on track with year 2 receiving 76% in tort 2, shows I have conducted SWOT analysis and analysed the parts that I did not do as well at, working to improve my knowledge of these points has been identified in year 2 by achieving high marks.
If I can do well the remainder of the year and then do well next year in business law and international commercial law shows that I have learnt on failures in contract and obviously doing well in Public International will show I have improved on Public Law.
I have understanding that these will probably be queried in interview but have solid answers for where I was not as strong as I should have been, law was a new subject to me, I had not studied it at A level, I also work full time whilst studying and when starting studying I had a child so I was studying full time, being a father full time and working full time, all whilst operating on 2 hours sleep. Going into my second year, I developed a plan to better use my time and organise myself better and this has shown with my increase in grades, etc.
I am also looking to fulfil extra curricular activities and volunteer work where possible.

I suppose we will see how much effect my first year grades had down the line
