Thank you very much.
This is really helpful.
Anyone in this forum that has actually heard back from Slaughters?
I don't think so, I'm expecting to hear back sometime next week as it will be a month since I applied on Friday. If anyone is willing to take one for the team and email them if it'll be this week or next week, that would be sensational.
I applied back in Jan! its been a long wait
JANUARY?!!! You mean for the winter cycle??
I would definitely email them if I was you. The winter cycle closed on the 30th January, the cycle we are currently in opened on the 1st June so we can't be applying for the same cycle.
haha yes, I've emailed a few times because a few of my friends were rejected and they applied the same time as me, but they've said to sit tight as they were still considering my app, and they asked for my final year results last week! Who knows though, not expecting too much for this exact reason!
Well that's good news then! If you were definitely going to be rejected, you probably would have got rejected at the same time as your friends, so I'd say you have a pretty good chance, good luck!
I’m confused are the winter cycles different from the summer cycles, arent we all applying for the same intake?
Same intake, but the two cycles are for different candidates. The summer intake is just for law finalists and graduates, the winter intake is for everybody else but law graduates could apply for that too.
thank you I appreciate that!! fingers crossed for us both! let me know if you hear
I will do mate!
On average does anyone know how many AC days slaughters has? I know this is a weird question but let’s say everyone that applied before the jul 10 deadline and made it through would they all have the same AC day? Or do they just hold them constantly throughout the year since they recruit on a rolling basis
They hold it throughout and fill on a rolling basis. I got my TC offer really late (September), for example.
Wow when did you have your AC?
How long after you applied did you hear back? It has been a month now since a few of us applied and no one has heard back.
I don't think my experience can be used as a benchmark as it was an unusual one. From application to AC, it is usually a month or so. From AC to Offer, in my case, it was the next day, but otherwise it is usually 3 weeks.
September as well!
I've read Slaughters is particularly strict with grades. Worth applying with a First in final year but a few 2:2s in first and second?
