If we have been successful for this, do we get interviewed for a TC at the end? Even though the date has passed, are we still given the opportunity to apply for a training contract, I’ve heard mixed opinions.

I could be wrong but I believe that you are guaranteed an interview only if you apply for the TC. If you have been accepted onto the workshop I believe the TC deadline is later but applications are rolling.
