Do you know when they had their interviews?
Or does anyone else know when Slaughters had/is having their direct TC interviews?
I interviewed Feb 27th (rejected lol) but pretty sure they're still running interviews for the people that did the winter workshop (I didn't). They've been interviewing since Nov 2023 or earlier

You can ask - they used to operate a wait list to change start dates.
They hire trainees on a rolling basis and conduct interviews accordingly. They don’t have a set few weeks when they do direct TC interviews (in the way that some firms do).

I’d ask before the paperwork goes out anyway as it could mean the paperwork need to be changed anyway.
I’d expect it to be electronic signatures these days via something like DocuSign, although I could be wrong.
Hi @Jessica Booker . I recently took a video interview where I was still recovering from food poisoning as I had to get it done and I know that extensions are not allowed. I was inevitably pretty blank in my expressions and less animated. Is that something I should highlight to the early careers team or is it something I just have to accept won’t be taken into consideration?

Unfortunately the recruitment team cannot really take it into consideration. They have no understanding of how it may have impacted you, and can’t “calculate” that into your performance.
Recruiters will often take the same view as universities where if you go ahead with an assessment, you are determining that you are “fit to sit”.
@Jessica Booker Hi i was wondering what is an in tray exercise and how do i prep for them. Ive seen people talking about them but im scared about coming up against one.
hey it was just a deadline for the written exercise (mine is 22nd midnight which is a little rough as i have 2 ACs next week!). i thought the next stage after the first interview was the final stage interview but i dont think that is the case!
Has anyone that has done the Ashurst test please tell me what it’s like I’m considering applying for the direct TC
