What do people say when they get into the interview room (zoom room) with the assessor. I always tend to say an awkward "Hi..." then trail off? or am I thinking way too much into this?

“Hi, how are you?” That sort of polite chit chat - which in the uk usually tends towards commentary on the weather on that day - allows me to settle in, figure out if the volume is ok, where I should be looking, etc. It also reminds you that you’re able to connect on a human level, even if you’re nervous about comes next.

I like “Hi! Great to meet you. How’s your day going so far?” It’s polite, enthusiastic, and gives your interviewer the chance to talk about something easy (how their day is going).

Applied in December. Got invited to WG in Dec and then interview on Jan 5. Invited to AC Jan 7 (I am sure they have a lot of people to get back to still so wouldn't worry if you haven't heard back)

Just got a non-law grad offer and am starting next month! I cringe looking back at my applications so far this cycle (1st cycle) and call me weird but I am already looking forward to submitting actually decent apps next cycle for December Winter VS'. Keep going everybody!!!

I really wouldn’t worry about this. The interviewers won’t be expecting anything more than a hi and a smile.

I found this Chambers document (450+ pages, probably longer than an SPA!), and it has profiles on every firm. It's like True Picture, but much more detailed I've found. I hope it helps someone!

Today I got PFOs post-interview from NRF and post-SJT from Mayer Brown ...

On the SAME MORNING I got an AC for Bird & Bird and Samsung, and an interview for Baker McKenzie.

Thank you very much both of you and now it is practise tests all week and do tests. I have 4 tests for 4 different law firms to do this week so have to make these tests my life for this week.
