Just schedule it into your diary at a time when you are at your best. There is little point trying to do it after a long day of studying or in an early morning after a lack of sleep.Any tips for the Linklaters CAPP assessment?
Only at final interview stage. It won't make any difference to your application etc.Hi all, if I am changing one of my module selections, when is the best time to notify the graduate recruitment team. I have only submitted my application, and have not reached the AC/interview stage yet.
If you don’t mind me asking, what firm was the AC for?Just got rejected from an AC I thought went well. Makes me feel even worse about A&O AC which went badly!
I guess its back to the drawing board for me lol
Does the time you take affect your score for the WGT? (Linklaters)
It is untimed, so i presume not!
different emailIs the HSF report you receive after the test supposed to tell you if you've been successful or is that a different email?
The fact that you got 2 ACs is amazing in itself! It shows you have what firms are looking for - don't give up and you will most definitely get somethingJust got rejected from an AC I thought went well. Makes me feel even worse about A&O AC which went badly!

I did it about a week or two ago. Firstly, I would reiterate what Jessica has mentioned: do it at a time where you believe you will have optimum energy and thus focus. The test is quite long (I think the suggested time is 75-90 minutes). Secondly, the first part of the test - basically an SJT test on steroids - is something you cannot practice for and frankly, I believe, something that you shouldn't anyways. That way you give genuine and honest responses because it will have been your first time seeing these types of questions. Regarding the second part of the test, it is a small version of a classic WG test so this is the section of the test that I advise you to practice for, and there are plenty of free sources to do so online (e.g. CC free WG test).Any tips for the Linklaters CAPP assessment?
I might be wrong but I think firms like Sidley and Davis Polk (particularly the latter firm) prefer university students (penultimate and final year).Has anyone applied to Sidley as a graduate or career changer? I can’t seems to find anything on their website that says whether their VS is only for student…
Depends on the firm. For example, I think you can with A&O but not CC.Can you apply to 2 offices of the same firm in the same application cycle?
I've applied as a graduate - check their recruitment brochure. VSs are open to graduates.Has anyone applied to Sidley as a graduate or career changer? I can’t seems to find anything on their website that says whether their VS is only for student…
It is firm dependent. Kennedys for example, you can submit 2 applications, one for each office. Some firms allow you to pick 2 in their online applicationCan you apply to 2 offices of the same firm in the same application cycle?
