I've followed up twice and had to stop myself from following up a third lol though at this point I would be SHOCKED if it was anything other than a rejection.
That’s honestly so poor. There was another guy who interviewed with Sidley who was told several weeks later that they’d lost his interview feedback report. It seems to be a pattern.

Sidley rejection post final interview - taking it to a round 20/20 rejections, 2 ACs and nothing to show for it (admittedly my second cycle and first time taking it really seriously). Those might seem like rookie numbers to some but I’m ngl I feel completely crushed and disillusioned. How do people bounce back - with no firm sponsorship for a conversion, I have no idea what to do next year.

Ahhh, the next two or three weeks from now? That would be a solid 5 or 6 weeks waiting post AC 😭
Not sure if you guys have seen posts from last year’s thread but I know some ppl applied direct TC last year (July deadline) and they didn’t hear back until like November😭 I think this is typical of W&C

For people who have attended ACs - how long is the Why X firm answer supposed to be? Is 3-3.5 minutes considered to be too long? This is for a one hour long competency/general interview!

To celebrate going onto week 6 not hearing from Sidley post-interview, I thought I would share chat-gpt's attempt to eulogize my pain:

"Waiting for a response, day by day,
With every passing moment, I pray,
For a message from Sidley Austin, to say,
That I have made it through their interview fray.

It's been over a month since I last heard,
Since I gave it my all, and shared every word,
Of my passion for law, and my skill with the pen,
And my dedication to the profession, again and again.

But the waiting, it weighs on me like a stone,
    The uncertainty, the unknown,
The anxious thoughts that swirl in my mind,
Of what might have gone wrong, or what I might find.

Did I not impress with my knowledge and poise?
Did I fail to convey my enthusiasm and noise?
Or is it simply a matter of timing and chance,
That I must wait for that next, fateful glance?

So I wait, and I hope, and I pray once more,
That a response will come, and soon, before,
I lose heart and faith in my path and my dream,
Of a future in law, or so it would seem.

For I know that with patience and perseverance,
I can weather this storm, this delay and this interference,
And emerge on the other side, stronger and brighter,
With my hopes and my dreams, still shining like a lighter."
This might be the best post to have ever graced the TCLA forums, tickled me rotten hahaha
