I think they are just working through these in the order you apply as it was rolling (sorry if that’s maybe obvious, this is my first year applying…)I applied to Simmons basically the day of the deadline and did my VI 9 days after the invite and haven’t heard pip nor squeak from them. As I said, this is my first year applying so guessing the process….

"With reference to a particular area of law, what do you find to be the most interesting about it?"

Any idea what 'area of law' refers to? Would either corporate law or M&A work (although I wouldn't say the latter is an area of law)?

Hello! I have a something that I’d love to have help with.

Norton Rose Fulbright rejected me for their WVS last week. However, they said that I can still apply in the 2023/2024 window (seems like they do this for everyone).

I have two questions really:
(i) What can I do to improve my application - if I have to change it at all?
- As I’m currently studying, I’m can’t think of any professional experiences that I can draw on between now and submitting an application again this window. I can’t imagine that they’d be impressed if I said “I’m enjoying my contract module”.

(ii) Can I only apply for their Training Contract, and not VS?
- Would be surprising, but just wondering.

I know I could ask GR these questions, but TCLA is so much more efficient and perhaps someone has already asked this.

Ty!
