    Hi @Jessica Booker

I hope you can help with this: just realised that I accidentally put the wrong dates of a work experience on a vac scheme application (It was a three-month internship last year but it saved on the vantage system as 2023).

Do you think I email the firm or leave it until my application progresses?

Is the period of time the same? Or is it presented that it was a year longer than it actually was?

If you're applying to a firm and haven't done their Forage programme but mention doing others, is that something that will count against you?

Just worried that a firm won't think I'm that invested in them as a first-choice if I'm completed six Forage programmes with other firms but not theirs. Any thoughts?

I don’t think so at all. If for example, you have completed Clifford Chance’s Banking Program, and you’re applying to a firm with a strong banking practice, it still demonstrates your experience and interest in that area. So I would definitely include it.

You could add a small description on what you did in those programs and how it links to the firm you’re applying to.

Thank you so much! Initially thought of completing their individual Forage programmes just so I could put them on there but seems like an unproductive use of time at this stage 🤣

I typically group Forage programmes all together as one entry on the work experience programme, unless it's the programme for the firm I'm applying to.

No - it won’t count against you, especially if the topics sign with what their firm does. If it doesn’t align with what they do, then it might be worthwhile not listing it (especially given you have six).

I generally just tend to lump Forage programmes together as one entry on the work experience section, before specifying a few of the tasks I did and skills gained. Suppose that's a fine approach if the tasks align with what a trainee at the firm may do/in their field?

Generally I would say yes, but if you are putting them all together in one entry it sounds like you could not include any that are subject wise not relevant anyway. For instance if you have done an IP specialist course and the firm has no IP department, I would probably remove it if you have other more relevant Forage courses to leverage instead.
