@Jessica Booker if you get rejected for a spring or summer vacation scheme for one firm are you allowed to apply to that same firm in the next cycle for winter?

Yes, you can, there is nothing stopping you from applying provided you have more experiences to talk about in your experiences but unless a law firm specifically makes it clear that you cannot apply, always assume that your application is welcomed!
