Honestly I don’t know why firms don’t make you complete the test before you can even look at the application. It would save so much time you be you failed and you me app wouldn’t even be looked at.

100% agree with this. They want to condense their workload by having tests, why not condense ours

Hi @baj5 - around 50% of the total number of applications came in between 18 and 20 December. I am working my way through them all (it is just me reviewing), which does take time. Please do bear in mind 18th is only 7 working days ago.

I was told by grad recruitment that they only look at applicants’ responses to the online questions (thoroughly) if you’ve passed the Watson Glaser, and that one reason they have it is to make their lives easier with less applications to review? Unless you mean something different?

im not entirely sure, but i saw online that another deadline from previous years was 23:59 so that might be the case for the 2nd. deffo dont take my word for it though lol

I completed the HL WGT about a week ago and I haven’t heard anything although the deadline is the 3rd of Jan so maybe they’ll start making AC invite decisions after that.

I also did my Willkie VI last week and I think the waiting time is around 10-15 working days but since it is the xmas/nye period it might be that those who did their VI recently won’t hear back until mid Jan.

If you don't mind me asking, are the VS winter, spring, or summer (Linklaters, W&C, Covington, NRF... because I applied for their summer and haven't heard anything yet, so I am supposing a nice little new year PFO gift...)?

can't speak for the other firms but I didn't receive Linklaters summer AC invite until the end of Jan last cycle, hang in there and good luck!

Not on a rolling basis, applied yesterday and the confirmation email mentions they will wait for the application deadline
