Hi, could I ask for a few tips? how did you get so many ACs/interviews? do you do law or non-law? how many applications did you do originally? This is my first cycle applying but I've got hardly anything

I've done 96 applications; non-law.

Just fwiw, I don't consider the format of WG tests to be top-secret information or something that it's plausible that someone would deliberately sabotage you by misinforming you about them.

I have done ALL the tests from the different providers, and if anyone has questions about how they work and so on am very happy to post this information publicly! (I do however ignore impertinent DMs.)

Second this, I didn't mean by sabotaged either. They all came to my DMs after I am asking insights on HL and would like to trade any firms that I've progressed on this thread. I did not do the opposite who begged and messaged first. This one person is sensitive and scapegoating me, I said if they have any questions you can ask, so def not just a format of the test, but ANYTHING as long as it does not breach the integrity of the test. Hope that's helpful lol.

I'm not sure. There were loads of PFO's yesterday but only seen 1 or 2 today and I'm unsure if they are just delayed responses from the same batch.

I would avoid trying to fill the entire 250 words if the entry doesn't require it - it's completely fine to use less if it is a less substantive experience! Generally, I would aim to discuss the role you had, the responsibilities it involved, and the transferable skills that you gained. If you have done this, it is completely fine if it is less than 250 words

I definitely need to work on reading nuances on questions then. I think every SJT I have done this year has gone abominably, to put it lightly. Thanks for the advice though

35! I know many people say that its quality over quantity but I think that quantity > quality just a bit. I did around 25 apps for first year schemes and was able to attend many schemes and open days and I think this is what makes me lean towards quantity,,,

So far 30 apps. A few of the apps only asked for grades, work experience and/or 1 question: Weil, Freshfields, Milbank, Hogan Lovells, W&C, etc.

I tried to find a bit of balance between quality and quantity. I know some people will prefer one or the other but I think in the middle can work too!​
