Did evershed send a confirmation email post vi? I haven’t got one after completing it.

Those wanting insight, There were 4 questions, 1 motivational and the rest are scenario-based but You have 30secs to prep and 2mins to answer. 1 practice question as well.
Refer to their pdf and that literally has all the relevant info :)
THANK YOU!!!

But Gemma went to Rare Recruitment, not law firm anymore. I believe that money isn't always everything. Age is matter, maybe they want to spend their time to family or personal values? We don't know as we're young so money seems everything, but I noticed US law firms' GR teams are younger than city or UK firms even the senior managers. Anyone else noticed? 🤣
The thing is Gemma championed inclusivity. She was a non RG herself and made a a balanced playing field.
No matter the university, disability or blip in grades Gemma took a very holistic approach. I’m sure many non RG have progressed beyond the application sift and to WE under her management (I didn’t last year). She was also the sole GR person for Willkie therefore stress must’ve been high.

Her approach to recruitment was unmatched. Doing the TCLA open day and the insight evening where people from all background where able to get insight rather than having an open day for 20 people and them all being from an RG background where they look at your grades etc just to get info on the firm. It was based off what you wrote not where you were from.

I applied to Willkie this year because I liked her and her approach and this is coming from someone who on paper has a fairly privileged educational background but I dislike the hate non RG students get.

So moving to rare was a great move for her based off of what should stood by.

Age matters but Paul isn’t near pension age just yet 😭

EDIT: half of my last post was deleted by admin so my point wasn’t solely on money 😅

Ngl, I bet Paul is reading through the commentaries offered on the forum regarding his sudden departure from , Weiss and having a chuckle about it
