It's definitely worth a shot! Please don't be discouraged by the open day rejection! I’ve progressed to the assessment centre stage after previously being rejected for an open day with the same firm (multiple times). Open day invites are dependent on several factors ; for example, if they felt you had enough legal experience or if they were looking for something incredibly specific. You've got this!😊

Paul Weiss Open Day rejection - any point applying to the VS?

Someone I know did their summer vac scheme and has just accepted a TC with them after being rejected from every open day they applied to at the firm so defo still apply!

Im in the same boat. To be honest, I think two weeks before the deadline will be fine even though they are rolling.

No i don't think so - some people last year were rejected post-app

Anyone know what HSF test is this year? I know it has been a weird test in previous years.

Similar to the previous years one, but remove the verbal deduction- the test provider is SOVA. including SJT and personality test.

Honestly don't be disheartened. I know someone who got rejected for an open day but then received a TC offer from the same firm!

I got rejected to Open Day but I will still apply to VS. I have already wrote out the application so nothing to lose!!!
