I also received this holding email - as people are getting WG, this feels close to a no.

It may also have something to do with when people applied. I applied on 31 Dec for the Summer VS, so I expect to be reviewed on the later end, but I know firms don't all work in the same way. I guess all we can do is wait and see! Hoping you receive good news.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone for spring get an AC yet, in general only about 3 people have said anything about getting an AC offer

Soooo just looked at my Cooley application emails from last year and I got a holding email on the 8th - same as this year - and a rejection on the 31st as promised.

I'm not sure it means anything special this year.
