This is so relatable, I am waiting to hear back from 6 firms. I am giving myself to mourn today’s silence then back to applications from tomorrow! Hopefully that will distract me

I do believe this yes. I think some firms have an “on hold” pile even if they do not explicitly say this. For example, I can imagine when firms decide who to invite to AC, there are some people who fall into the immediate yes category, the immediate no category, and then the limbo zone of being strong but not necessarily an immediate yes.Guys, btw, is there a positive correlation between the later one gets rejected and the quality of the application? I was told that if one receives a rejection later than others, then the quality of the application was probably better and fencing an acceptance. Trying to clutch at any straws smh(
I do think HSFK follow this model as they sent out a waves of rejections, with some spring AC invites but still haven’t rejected/invited people to AC who have applied for spring, even though they’ve PFOed people for summer.

I’m so confused cos I sat my stage 1 on Dec 17 but still haven’t gotten the PFO. Did they even get my submission cos idek what’s going on.
