i just used a typical letter format (but i know someone who didn’t add addresses and still got through to WG). i kept it around a page long, around 500 words! i would say 500-750 is probably the sweet spot

Ask to see if you can attend another interview date (if they are even running other dates). Otherwise you just tell you employer straight that you are attending an interview for a role that if successful would basically set you up for life so you can either be supportive or sack me and waste months training up a new employee.

Withers said they have concluded interviews for spring, and are just now starting their interviews for Summer (so expect more invites bc they are staggered)

Ropes is non rolling and people heard back mid/late Feb last year (I think people heard from Debevoise around this time too)

People have had VIs for Vinson & Elkins and Addleshaw
