They must have an insane number of applications if the messages I got on this forum were anything to go by. I think I received more insight requests for Clyde & Co than all the other firms combined.

Sorry for the confusion - there is no SJT for Debevoise. I just meant that some firms do really low-resolution screening before the AC's.

It is late, but still feasible. If it's a June VS, anytime before then they can make decisions (although historically they did AC's in Feb, it might be impossible to screen all the VIs before then). It could also be that they gave a pessimistic date to stop people from emailing them before asking for updates/information. Now they have the freedom to take time without having random applicants on their backs.

microcosm for business and economics - it's possible to run a business with a good or bad economy. Uncertainty is the death of businesses.

EDIT: I don't recommend talking about firms not responding as a metaphor for business economics in an interview!

@Abbie Whitlock Is it advisable to email firms asking to move scheme dates. I selected summer for some apps but it looks like I can do mostly spring now. Is this advisable or should I just wait to see if I'm progressed for summer?
