Can I ask why you think March is too late?

Visa process is taking 3 weeks for applicants outside the UK and 6 weeks inside the UK, unless you're willing to pay for extra fees, it can be speed up. It's the only one firm left that sponsor visa for international which I applied, but haven't sent the outcome

Okay I'm exposing myself for idiocy here but how do you guys know you applied for Spring or Summer for Sidley Austin? I technically applied for both (it says Spring and Summer). Did I accidentally miss an email where you submitted a preference? Is it more that because it's rolling, if you submitted by a certain time, you will get a particular slot?

I actually can't fully remember what I applied for either looool. It think Summer but I submitted v early (29th Sept).

Ok then you should expect the email by the next working day or two, if it’s been longer than that a follow up email shouldn’t hurt, just bundle it with any other questions about the scheme you may have.

Just heard from Sidley for Summer! I'm assuming the telephone interview is with HR and if successful there will be an in-person commercial based AC. Anyone got insight on this?

I was wondering has anyone received an AC for HFW this batch? This PFO is rlly confusing and frustrating 💔 Idk if it's bc I applied too late (a week before deadline) and theyve already filled the slots or it's just bc of my app..

Hi! Yes the telephone interview is with one of the heads of grad recruitment (both are super super nice). If successful, it’s an in person interview with a partner on the trainee recruitment team. Then, if successful, offer!

hey guys jist wanted some quick advice! i done two ACs and one has replied with an offer (yay !!) but the other is bakers and im still waiting to hear back. they said theyd let us know around this week, but the other firms has different dates available for their scheme and one of them would overlap with bakers..

i have already asked them to put me on the one that doesnt over lap but not too sure whether this would be possibke (i asked when she called and she said it is not always possible but they will try), but bakers did say i could email if i needed an answer quicker.

i am thinking should i just email and ask so that i know for sure whether i need to push the first firm on the dates i can do?

im not sure if doing so could also hurt my chances of getting the vac scheme so was wondering if anyone recommends anything cuz i have already replied to the first firm so i feel like i could just wait as well ?

TI with HR, about 20 mins long.
PI in the office with a partner, mine lasted about 1 hr 10 mins. First half is motivation and competency, second half is article discussion

How many telephone interviews do sidley give out

Idk about telephone interviews but I believe it was 70 partner interviews for the wvs (out of approx 1800). The partner interview comes after the telephone one so I would imagine there are more telephone invites.
