Hello, does anyone know if your title necessary needs to be Trainee Solicitor if you are training in-house or could it be your normal position ie Paralegal etc? Thank you.
If you are doing an LPC training contract, then it doesn't really matter what your job title is, although trainee is most common. Your employment contract should state you are completing a "period of recognised training" though.

If you are doing an SQE training contract, it technically doesn't matter at all what your job title is really, although many will want/will negotiate a relevant job title and may feel a paralegal isn't setting them up appropriately for their future career.
