Their website has an AC practise I think.Hi everyone!!
Has anyone done the AC for Baker McKenzie that could give me some advice? It seems like quite a lot back-to-back and I am worried 😦
So weird they said that they would get back to us in 7 days, yet they only confirmed that they received the results 3 weeks after I completed it...Has anyone heard back from Fieldfisher post online test?
Honestly it’s not bad at all! I did it last year and the candidates were really lovely and you’re basically split into 2 teams and argue in favour of your client for an M&A case (I think ????) You’re not all fighting against each other but instead working together, it’s about finding compromise rather than winning ! )Have a Macfarlanes AC and have never done a group exercise before. Does anyone have advice on how to do well in group tasks.
I don't remember exactly how many but 40% at least; they are all situational judgment and (2) motivationalFor Mayer Brown's job simulation, how many VIDEO INTERVIEW questions were there? and were there any based on comm awareness or were they just competence/why MB/why law?
it doesn't have to be work experience! but you have to show something like virtual internships, a deal you heard about, courses, legal cheek events ...Hi all, how would I justify interests in banking and finance, I have never done any sort of work experience in this area, its just something I would like to learn about in the future, would this be justifiable to an interviewer?
is this like a negotiation?Honestly it’s not bad at all! Last year I didn't receive any communication, I just had to find out by checking the portal :/Has anyone received any PFO yet from Links for spring/summer vs or any sort of communication?

Thank you so much for this. Just another question: what was the written task like?I don't remember exactly how many but 40% at least; they are all situational judgment and (2) motivational
I recall there being 6 video interview questions - a mix of motivational, situational and competency. There was nothing commercial! For Mayer Brown's job simulation, how many VIDEO INTERVIEW questions were there? and were there any based on comm awareness or were they just competence/why MB/why law?
Feel free to PM meHi guys - bit of a long shot, but does anyone have experience of the Dechert online written exercise - and if so, do you have any tips?
Cheers in advance!
If I remember correctly, it was trying to mimic a trainee's daily work, so it was mostly document checking/proofreading (or was this stage one? If so, I remember a MB's task where you had to summarise a fairly long text about ESG, but I can't remember which stage was which haha sorry)Thank you so much for this. Just another question: what was the written task like?
