If a firm asks for a cover letter, and also asks as a separate question "Why X firm", should i include why that firm in the cover letter too? I feel like it would be pointless to repeat myself.

I didn’t really prepare for it. SJTs are quite simple to complete. As long as you’re honest with your answers, you’ll be fine.
