I think no because it's a PS and not a cover letter

I checked but it is such a new case and it is not mentioned in the firm’s website yet. The news was published by a specialist news outlet.
ah sorry really not sure how to help then - all i can think of otherwise is checking if the news outlet is from the UK, or mentions anything about any of the regions being there, or if any of the companies/or their head offices are based in the UK. sorry - hope you find it out in time though!

No need to include this. It’s not a cover letter, just a statement so you can go straight into explaining your answer.

Do you have any sources on this? Or is this just the 'norm' for PS? I think I previously progressed with a PS by including a short introduction and ending (beyond the core elements of a PS)
It’s not that it is automatically a bad thing, it just isn’t necessary.

Thanks for letting me know!
I believe you, but it’s really interesting that the grad brochure says it’s rolling - and the brochure is 2021/2022 applicants too, so should be updated. How strange
Yes, I thought the same after reading their graduate info! It's a relief if not but strange to have it stated as rolling

Hello! I have a Telephone Interview soon, and had a couple of queries:

1. How long is an answer ideally supposed to be? My interview is scheduled for 30 minutes.
2. For questions such as Why this firm, Why commercial law, and any other questions that we have addressed in our application form - is it not advised to mention/use the same points as the one in the application form?

This is my first TI, so I'd be grateful for any help. Thank you! :)

Does anyone have an idea of the right amount of detail for the Freshfields Work Exp section? Doesn’t seem to have word limit and box to put text says ‘Detail Work Experience’. So not much of an indication as to how brief/detailed.
Apologies if this has been queried recently.

I'd stick to under 100 words for each piece of work experience as that's generally been the standard across most applications in my experience. You could also email grad rec to confirm if they have any preference for the number of words you can use (although they're likely to say they don't have any preference as they would've set a word limit if they did).

Does anyone know how NRF guaranteed interview scheme works - I think I am eligible.

I have submitted app (deadline was Sunday midnight) and called nrf multiple times before deadline but never got through. Slightly worries, I won’t be considered eligible.
Does anyone have any advice ?

@Jessica Booker @Dheepa @James Carrabino
You will need to meet all the basic eligibility criteria to ensure you are eligible. If you meet this, you will be invited to interview.

When you submitted your application won’t be taken into consideration, so I wouldn’t worry about what you did this.
