Is it necessarily a bad thing to mention the same deal a firm worked on in a video interview as you did in the written application ? I'm not sure if they compare the VI to the written app or not

Guys anyone doing the Winston & Strawn app? While I have inserted my University education the system marks the section as "not completed" and does not let me submit. Does anyone who applied have any clue on how to surpass this or if there is something that I am missing?

Hi, I completed mine last night. I think the system is very Americanised and I accidentally selected "law school" or "JD" to enter my uni details as I did law as an undergrad. I don't think it matters too much because all my uni details, with my grade breakdown, are on my CV.

Yeah! Just figured it out. I had my university experience under "school" because when I selected law school it showed as J.D. Thank you!

I would choose law school, insert your university and in the comment section add your degree name for clarity

I guess I don’t know for certain. I’m being a little pessimistic. I would still hold out and hope for the best!

Maybe I’m just a perennial optimist, but I’ve only seen a couple of people have Travers interviews on here and they’re a popular firm, so I’d expect more. Someone who had one last cycle said they heard early March too about an interview.

I wouldn’t assume at all that you’re out if you haven’t heard seeing as the vast majority also appear to still be waiting.

Said this to so many people, but there’s absolutely no need to feel embarrassed. I feel year on year the competition is getting stiffer and almost everyone who applies is a strong candidate, so it’s not as if you’re doing anything wrong

How many cycles are you on and how many applications have you done if you don’t mind me asking?
