Is this for the situational judgement assessment?I really dont get Browne Jacobson. Near the end of their online assessment, it says we would like to hear more about why you chose to apply to Browne Jacobson in your own words. So I thought it was gonna be another VI. Instead there were two 500 word questions. Why include those in the online assessment instead of the application form. So frustrating
This is very cliché advice and probably unhelpful, but I would just answer honestly and don’t overthink them. Please could someone give some advice on the Amberjack Assessment? This is my first one, and I am not sure what to expect or how to prepare for it. Any help is appreciated!!
TCLA has a good one: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy....firm-case-studies-monday-article-series.3232/Does anyone have some online resources for case studies to practice (w answers if possible!)
I haven’t as well. You reckon it’s a PFO?Anyone still haven't hear back from Travers?
I did one and yes it’s unlimited prep time and 2 mins to answer, first try onlyAnyone know if the video interview part of an amberjack assessment gives you unlimited prep time?
Do you mean across firms or for the same firm?If you get progressed to interview stages for firms in one cycle, is it necessary the same will happen next cycle?
For the same firm.Do you mean across firms or for the same firm?
No - whether or not you get an interview one cycle is not going to be a clear indicator to you getting or not getting an interview the next year/cycle.For the same firm.
You won’t have the opportunity to work for the firm before making the commitment to them for several years. Are there any disadvantages to applying for a direct training contract with a firm as opposed to going through the vacation scheme route? @Jessica Booker @axelbeugre
I see, thank you!You won’t have the opportunity to work for the firm before making the commitment to them for several years.
But apart from that, I don’t think there is a direct advantage/disadvantage in every case - this will vary from firm to firm and also from candidate to candidate.
What should I do to keep my chances high?No - whether or not you get an interview one cycle is not going to be a clear indicator to you getting or not getting an interview the next year/cycle.
