Hi, does anyone have insights into the CMS and/or Weil VI?

I can trade with insights for Latham & Watkins and Hogan Lovells VI for this cycle, and VIs from last cycle for firms like White & Case, DWF, Forsters, Reed Smith, Simmons & Simmons, and other US firms!

Is there a point in doing the Kirkland app as I read some have received VIs? I thought K&E was non-rolling

I went to a Freshfields event this morning and they said they haven’t sent out AC’s yet for the TC but said they should be coming through in the next following week

I thought they were non rolling also and the deadline is not for a few days. The person with the VI is for VS i'm sure but even so it is confusing as nothing is being clarified as I did ask and they just ignored...

i guess but Willkie is known to be semi rolling not non rolling, K&E is non rolling so i didn't think progression to the next stage would have happened yet.

I still have hope until they tell me no!

I personally wouldn't worry just yet!! They are sort of obliged to check every app before the deadline

They said they did this intentionally during their open day, as they want to assess how we convey our motivations in as concise a way as possible. I found it extremely difficult to do. 100 words isn’t enough words at all. ​

Makes sense! A good lawyer should be concise Hard not to sound generic with my motivations in under 100 words, though.

Samee! I think they are finishing off reading the VS applications, and then they'll move onto TC. That's my best guess, as both were rolling but the VS deadline closed earlier whilst the TC deadline is end of Jan.
