Thank you! thats a good point and I'm definitely leaning towards that. another slight issue is that I'm due to start a new job soon and im not sure if it would look bad that I need essentially 3 weeks off across march/April.

Yeah, that may be tough - I know some places are a bit iffy about that sort of thing. You've got this though, and congrats on both VSs!!

Hi guys so ive been offered a second VS and the way its structured is that there's a 1 week vacation scheme, and then 2 weeks later there's an in person assessment day for a training contract. I can manage the VS but the in person assessment day clashes with another VS I have. If there's no flexibility with choice of assessment day, would it be possible for me to attend the VS and then turn them down?

Congratulations on the multiple VS offers!

This is definitely a tricky situation, and I had a similar issue last year where I was invited to a final TC interview post-VS but it clashed with a second summer VS that I was completing (+ the first firm had no flexibility with interview dates). Fortunately, the firm I was completing the second scheme with let me have the morning off the scheme to go attend the interview, so I would double-check with the firm to see if that is a possibility (as some firms have policies for this!). However, if not, I don't think there is anything stopping you from attending the VS for the experience

I'd say that you aren't expected to prepare questions, although I'm sure they'll give you a chance to ask any questions that you might have! I always found it best to have a pen and paper to note down the main points that they make (as otherwise I'd probably forget!) and to just thank them for the feedback at the end. I have had a few feedback calls in the past, and I'd say they are usually around 15-20 minutes (although I'm sure this can differ depending on what stage the feedback is after). It is definitely an uncomfortable call, but receiving the feedback will be super useful for preparing for future assessments, so I'd focus on just trying to get through it

@Abbie Whitlock Thats a good suggestion. Only slight issue is the later VS is in London and the in person AC would be in a different city. Taking a full day or a half day off on my third day into a VS wouldn't be a good look im sure (especially since I'd definitely prefer the London firm long term)

I applied for SPARK and my application is "Archived". The e-mail states they will come back with an outcome before or on the 5th of March. Could it mean I am already rejected?

I applied on the 11th and did the WG on the 12th so maybe just means as they go through applications they sort us into folders and 'archive' all of us into catagories?
