Don't know if I'm being stupid, but is the Fieldfisher application literally just grades and work experience, no application questions? I am quite happy they've changed it after the nightmare it was last year

People that have done and passed HLC stage 1 - in the proofreading exercise, is American spelling considered as a mistake? So do we correct those words to their British counterparts and count them as typos?

I remember last year’s test asked us to count the number of typos/mistakes in a given text, I assume it’s the same this year.

Hey guys, just looking for a bit of advice. I got accepted onto Grow’s mentoring scheme and received the email on Saturday. I replied the same day accepting it. I haven’t heard anything since, so I was wondering whether it’s better to sit and wait until they reach out or if I should send a follow-up email.

I would normally wait, but I’ve been paired with a firm that is one of my top choices, so the sooner I can get started, the better really.

how long did you guys wait for the 1st stage online test invite from Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and Dechert? I applied 12 and 14 days ago and have yet to get the email :/ I know for HLC it's automatic, not sure about Dechert?

Is HLC automatic? I received it after one weekday.
