TCLA Vacation Scheme Applications Discussion Thread 2026-27

[Jay1061]

Anyone done the chatbot for Mishcon yet or the VI for Mills and Reeve. I have completed Hogan Lovells, Reed Smith, Freshfields, A&O…

[wooliewoo]

congrats! when did you apply?

ty! I applied on the 13th sept

[wooliewoo]

is the reed smith test basically like amberjack but with no vi? edit: nvm just checked it is lol

Don't know if I'm being stupid, but is the Fieldfisher application literally just grades and work experience, no application questions? I am quite happy they've changed it after the nightmare it was last year

[TortillaTC]

People that have done and passed HLC stage 1 - in the proofreading exercise, is American spelling considered as a mistake? So do we correct those words to their British counterparts and count them as typos?

I remember last year’s test asked us to count the number of typos/mistakes in a given text, I assume it’s the same this year.
