I just received from the GLP to say I've gotten through to the online interview stage. Feels like a marathon application process, and I'm pretty surprised I passed the CRT (I can never tell if I've bombed or smashed it).
Was wondering if anyone has experience of the type of questions they ask for the GLP? Need to start prepping!

GLP will be very good at explaining what you will be assessed against. Civil service have to tell you which competencies you will be assessed against and this will be relevant to the job grade you are applying to.

You can then see the type of evidence they will be looking for in the following document: https://assets.publishing.service.g...e/436073/cscf_fulla4potrait_2013-2017_v2d.pdf

Just make sure you are looking at the right job grade.

Edit: - from their (awful) brochure

Motivation – Having a clear interest in and motivation for the law, public service and the work of government lawyers.

Hello, I’m a paralegal in GLP - interviews are now based on the Civil Service success profiles - https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/success-profiles . The interview will be very scripted and based on the behaviours and competencies shown in the success profiles. I would recommend having an example for each, for example ‘name a time when you have delivered at pace’. Hope this helps!

Amazing, massive congrats!! Which firm is it with if you don't mind me asking?

Amazing, really well done!! When was your AC? I had mine with ML last Monday and still waiting to hear back.

Did they call or send an email?
Thank you so much!! My AC was Wednesday and they called me yesterday. They did say 2-3 weeks to hear back so I’m sure they’re just taking their time to get back to people. Let me know how it goes I’m crossing everything for you!!!
