Are you law or non-law?Accepted for Getting to Know Davis Polk!
Law, but I suspect it's because I applied quite early on.Are you law or non-law?
I hear that Davis Polk much prefer law students.
I emailed about their open day, and was told they accept non-law apps for that. They actually only accept apps from law students.
I see, well done on getting it! I also applied very early on, so don't think it's that.Law, but I suspect it's because I applied quite early on.
Oh wow, that's a harsh one!Regarding Davis Polk, I emailed Grad Rec regarding their stance on non-law students and this was their detailed response! Hope this is helpful!

I have a few open days coming up and was wondering what people generally tend to wear for virtual open days? I'm a guy and wasn't sure whether to just go with a smart jumper or to put on a shirt and jacket. Would appreciate any insight on this!
I always wear a jacket, shirt and tie. It's not because the partners or associates are in a relaxed outfit that you should not try and make the best impression.I have a few open days coming up and was wondering what people generally tend to wear for virtual open days? I don't think there is any need for a blazer, not even the trainees and partners on the virtual open days have a jacket on. White/blue shirt or smart jumper will be fine.
