Congrats guys! I really rushed my application so I’m not expecting much! Glad we have some Cooley success on the forum!

Thanks a lot! To provide some guidance to anyone else interviewing at Wedlake Bell, I emailed them and they clarified that in the skills assessment, you are given 30 mins to review a written piece of text and it is completely separate to the interview.

Thanks a lot! I’ll check out that post now. Unfortunately I genuinely have no idea what is meant by skills assessment. The AC is in person, there is little information in terms of the recruitment cycle anywhere, on the forum or otherwise. I was hoping that someone here might be able to provide...

Hey guys, I have my first AC/interview on Tuesday and the firm hasn’t provided any info besides there being a ‘general interview’ and ‘skills assessment’. The firm is smaller, Wedlake Bell, and I can’t find any info at all on previous interviews etc. I’m kinda freaking out because it’ll be my...

Has anyone applied to Cooley in the past? If so, how long did it take to receive next stage or PFO?

I agree it’s kind of strange. Kinda suspicious. So many applicants on here for the summer scheme and not a single person got to AC but many did for spring? 🤔🤔

Reed Smith PFO! I’m honestly glad that is over! Onwards and upwards! Shame about the no feedback though, especially at interview stage.

Yup they just have a load of psychometric testing after application. It's the same with Linklaters and I'm sure a few others. I actually prefer it that way as it means you can really sell yourself in an interview as its the first time you would have provided any info about yourself. Not to...

TCLA Vacation Scheme Applications Discussion Thread 2021-22 (#1)

Does anyone know how 'white shoe' Gibson Dunn is? Has anyone from a non RG university made it past initial application? I only ask because the Legal Cheek current trainee pie-chart looks like a perfect semi-circle of oxbridge and RG graduates. I understand that many US firms still priorities...

Is it ever appropriate to email graduate recruitment to ask for an update on an application? For example, I applied to White & Case in November and am yet to hear anything from them bar a Merry Christmas email!

'Please sign off the letter with your candidate number rather than your name as Wedlake Bell operate an anonymous application review.' - Any idea where one can find their candidate number before sending off their application? Very confused.
