Following up on this now that the deadline has closed. Has anyone heard back from Reed Smith yet? What have people heard back from Reed Smith? Are they likely to progress applicants well ahead of the deadline?

I applied on the deadline, as well. Do you think if they haven’t gotten back to me today then it’s likely a no? Sorry, I’m new to the TC application stuff.applied on deadline, got VI+test today with deadline to complete on the 5th this week

I got a 2:1 (non-law) and got past the first stage for several city firms, including a US one (I just suck at online tests)just received my results today and i got a 2:1 from a low RG uni. Can't help but feel like my city law firm dreams just went down the drain...😭
I don't understand what this means?just received my results today and i got a 2:1 from a low RG uni. Can't help but feel like my city law firm dreams just went down the drain...😭
I have a lower/mid 2.1 equivalent in undergrad from a non-UK uni and I made it to AC with multiple top firms (SC, other large UK firms, and US, no MC though). Also have no ties to the UK. While they might assess foreign grades differently, I think most firms really do just want to see decent A-levels (or equivalents) and a 2.1 from a reputable uni. I see no reason to worry but you will probably need impressive work experience and other activities to match the level of first class and/or Oxbridge grads. And there are the few firms that do openly care more about top grades like Slaughters or Sullcrom or Jones Day - but honestly there are so many other firms.just received my results today and i got a 2:1 from a low RG uni. Is there a point in applying for White n Case DTC if I applied for the vac scheme and did not get past the app stage? Especially as they usually hire from the schemes and I am looking to apply for a vac scheme in the next cycle?
