Competency questions
That's fair. It's not always easy to come up with a relevant example on the spot. I used to get stuck trying making a link between what I did and how I met those trickier competencies. It felt quite contrived.- Jaysen

Hmm, I checked back on my application. When I applied, it was two commercial questions, which was a bit easier. I would equate "why do you want to be a transactional lawyer at Kirkland" as mostly a "why Kirkland" question. Your cover letter could include more information on your interest in...- Jaysen

Sector Foucs ? or Market leading capability?
Excellent explanation @AzanAshai. Exactly, some firms structure their services around sectors, hence they brand themselves as sector focused. Simmons & Simmons, for example, does this. A "market leading capability" just refers to a firm describing the strength of its services.- Jaysen
